Sylvia Metzler
Marmelade Workshop
In Ecuador there are no seasons like in Europe. That's why people never learned how to make durable products. The fruits and vegetables are available fresh all year round.
During one of our microbusiness visits we noticed that unsold products are partly thrown away by the farmers after the market.
Why not make durable products out of it?
Why not process the harvested fruit / vegetables further and thus increase the profit?
These questions were the hour of birth of our jam workshops, which have now taken place more than three times.

Small insights into the kitchen:
We are very happy to be able to share our talents with the people of Otovalo in a practical way. To experience how inquisitive and grateful they are for the help.
We are Daniel Metzler, Sylvia Metzler, Jakob Metzler, Olivia Metzler, Hannes Metzler.
